Rescue team with Forestry officer arrived in Quarantine area of Cikananga
Friday 24th November 2013, BKSDA (Forestry officer) with Cikananga Rescue Team evacuated animals from the rich man in Bogor, West Java. Here is the list of animals we evacuated: 1 Sunbear (Helarctoes malayanus); 3 Dusky pademelon (Thylogale brunii); 1 Lesser Mouse Deer (Tragulus javanicus); 1 Javan peacock (Pavo muticus); 4 Crested-serpent eagle (Spilornis cheela); 2 Changable hawk eagle (Spizatus cirrhatus); 3 Siamang (Sympalangus sindactilus); 2 Slow loris (Nycticebus coucang) and 1 Wreathed Hornbill (Rhyticeros undulatus). Now all animals residing our facilities to have their rehabilitation.
